Cargo Container Sizes
Cargo containers are available in a variety of sizes, with the standard ones being 10, 20 or 40 feet long. All standard cargo containers are 8 feet high by 8 feet wide and offer a large, easy to use secure door. All standard containers include at least one door that is approximately 7’6” x 7’5”. Double the size of the 10 footer, a 20 foot container offers around 1,169 cubic feet of storage space and is about the size of a one car garage. Ideal for all types of jobs such as home remodeling or storage space on a job site. Can easily fit the contents of a small 2-3 bedroom house. Payload capacity: 48,000 lbs.
40 Foot Container
About the size of a two car tandem garage, offers users approximately 2,385 cubic feet. Great for all types of storage, can fit a 4 bedroom house worth of furniture. Ideal for personal use, building sites, storing large machinery or for storing large amounts of store inventory during holiday seasons. Payload capacity: 80,000 lbs.
